Is laughing gas safe?

I get asked this question quite a bit. The basic answer is YES! Nitrous Oxide is the oldest sedative gas. It was discovered in 1772 by Humphrey Davy. It is administered through a nose piece mask during the procedure. It is always delivered with oxygen. Oxygen levels are at minimum 30%, which is higher than in air (27%).
